server crash
Just an FYI for you hermskii server crashed yesterday 9th i think around 1pm est time but could be 1/2 -1 hour either way on a map called "ruins of harobed" and can you check that "hellfire v3" is on the redirect it came down very slow even after i tried to reconnect 3 times (which sometimes helps reset the connection)....

Now that I'm logging again finally I can tell you that yes the server crashed. The error is something about actor tick ActorCanSeeMe then crash! I have noticed that it happens 4-5 times when special characters are in the player's name yet this error never happens on CG running on the same computer. I have asked around about the error and people seem to think it has to do with my internet connection and the Server Tick rate which has been just fine for about 5 years. I actually reduced it making this server even better for 56kers and yet the error keeps happening about 3 times a day on MHM
I checked MH-HellFireV3 and all is well with it. Please give it another shot and let me know. Thanks for all of the info too. It helps lots when people mention stuff.

I know this much ...
The Actor it is referring to is a UT actor.
ie a "monster" (I know this from mapping)
That is probably why it is not happening in CG.
It is most likely unique to MH because of the actor part (monsters).
They call all the monsters in UT actors, along with other objects under the heading of actors.
It is saying that the monster recognizes "me" being a player I would guess.
I am not sure what the "tick rate" is referring to but the game itself has a tick rate.
That tick thingy is in many of the errors/crash logs.
But, as you say, this is a relatively New thing this crashing! ???

I don't know for sure that it is new because I haven't looged for so long. You are right about it being a monster issue. The problem is monster guts on ground after dying stay too long or something. Not sure yet. Note the line about the UnrealShare.CreatureCarcass.Dead.Timer. Here is one of the crash errors:

It almost looks like there is too much going on with all the chunks bouncing around (ticks).
Maybe try lowering the "Gore Level" to see if this helps?
