Dude...don't ever change the subject when I'm educating the masses.
I lost my server/PC two weeks ago....so I'm still on injured reserve.
I'm working off a 4 month old server....bootcamp sux and should be deleted.
Give me one more week and I'll be up to date.

Currently I've removed three maps that were having problems.

DM-BeachHead
DM-BootCamp
DM-Toury_Deathmach_City

If you see anymore LePoLoo, or anyone else for that matter, lets us know.

What do you mean? The forum name change was to remove questions about which server forum one was replying on. MHM and MHM2 were confusing. Descriptions of each one are still listed beneath each listing eh.

And we'll add DM-Artic to the list of maps I need to fix.
A few maps on my current server are not up to date with
my FTP server.
I changed a few spawn points on 4 or 5 maps at the beginning
of the year. And since I lost my server during the storm I'm
using a copy of my server from about a month ago.
I think I have them all now?

Oh - when you change the spawn points, you are also changing the name of the maps?
If you don't, players will get a version mismatch.
Because the map will be a new version with ANY changes at all that you do!

Just an FYI for everybody ...
I you ever open a map in UnrealEd and hit the save - even if you do not change anything - the map will be a different version than the original.
This is how version mismatches happen.
Do not even change the name of the map - that will also do it!
Same goes for any other files that support maps such as music and textures.
Just an FYI.

One I encountered the other day was the "credits" version mismatch.
This one is the worst!
You cannot run UT without it so you are stuck.
You cannot remove it from UT and download from a server as you can with say a "de" mismatch.
It seems to be used for the main UT menu windows.
I was entering the map Cybrosis on my site's Server and there it was.
BigBoss runs our server and he must have somehow gotten this resaved "credits" file from somewhere.
I of course had him delete that map and the credits files he had and get them back from the original installed files.
