Half of my family are staying and the other half went up to Austin.
It seems like it's going to be one hell of a storm.

Well it is about 6:30 PM here and I already have a small branch down in the back yard and have already lost power once for about 30 seconds. There is no rain here yet but there are 40-60mph wind gust every once in a while. It is getting dark and it is interesting to see the trees twist and contort in ways I've never seen them bend before. The wind is enough to put dirt off the road in your face and this isn't anything compared to what will get here in about a hour or two. I'll try to keep you posted every couple of hours until the power finally shuts off for good. CYA!

The time is here almost. We have huge gusts outside. I'm very excited. The bad stuff should really start rolling in starting about now.

Thanks. Still nothing major here at all. Some sprinkles and some really heavy gust here and there. The lights flicker on and off every once in a while. When it kicks up hard it is loud and the house shakes. I can already see I'll be losing at least one fence in the back yard. This is cool! More reports later if power stays on.

OK folks. I'm signing off and the servers are going down now too. I'm on UPS power now. The transformer or power lines blew. I saw the explosion from my back yard. I'm on emergency power right now. I'm out. The good stuff just got here. AMAZING POWER this storm has. CYA!

Good, so you got that much for sure. My UPS should die in a few minutes and if this storm keeps up like this or gets worse I can see how they can do such much damage. It is 11:20 here. The power went out 3 minutes ago. Take care everybody! I'll try to get back on this tomorrow if I get power back.
