Whats with the player on CG calling Klownz nasty names?? Not a player friendly environment at all . . . . If Klownz had any feelings they would have been hurt . . .

I was cussing alot too, but just in general.
I'm tired of losing.
Not just losing but repeatedly failing in a most heinous and miserable way.
What is it Klowns? Do you have special funny clown armor? Do the big shoes make you faster? Just when I think I have you, you flit away like some happy little pixie.

But I did see that noob, named after a bot (?).
He barely came into the game and started whining away.
Don't worry, he would not have the testicular fortitude to hang around and try to improve his game.

Herm had onetime had anti-cussing player would knick off. I remember one time One player get knick off 10 times. Cussing. It was funny.

I'm learning the mod makes for baby-steps in improvement. You don't get better in an afternoon. I thought I was doing OK for myself then Melissa came in and totally mopped the floor with me. (S)he had awesome deemer defense, I couldn't hardly get to her. I can see I need to make a large, flat, open map and practice defending incoming deemers.

It takes practice...practice...practice and then when you think you got it...you need more practice.
And with practice comes patient.
Or you could just learn spawn points so you could bots and uncontested players.
But then you'd be a one-dimensional sprayer with no skills?

Yeah you quickly tire of the bots. The can't defend at all and don't react to the incoming missles. Is that a lapse in the AI?

BOTs treat redeemer as they would any other weapon - that is a problem.

They shoot it at 5 feet from you!

I won't say who it was because nothing was said afterwards...he doesn't

The deemer also is a larger bullet than a regular bullet. The bots can react to you shooting a pistol near the corner of a box they may be standing behind but they don't understand that a deemer missile is thicker and can't get past the corner of the box and so it detonates killing the bots. Funny! That is why you always see bots with negative scores if you set them up to godlike with this mod. They see you so fast and react to fast that they don't give enough room between themselves and boxes or walls for the full girth of a deemer missile to get by without hitting anything. Boom! Bye-bye bot.

I was looking at the AI decision making that the bots use. Those problems are addressable if you guys are interested. Bot behavior could be modified in the decision making string to greatly lessen some of these problems, but it still won't afford them a "tactical" mind. They just react to stuff. A good chunk of that too is mapmakers. If a map is pathed poorly the bot IQ drops tremendously. I'd guess that with the pickups removed from the maps by the deemer mods, there are a lot of path blanks that make it hard for the bots too. I know on several maps I see them not patrol much at all.

Did you "see" it or did you see the announcement that "Fuzz_Ball was telefragged by Bot"?

And yes, it's happened to me a bunch.
But I have seen a bot telefrag another bot...creepy.
