Just wondering how did everyone end up here? and where the hell did you come from?
Nearly everyone starts out in disciplins far far away from deemer....then...

I was thinking about it the other day..
I started playing sniper and after about a year and a half, i realised i was really bad at it...dunno why but snipe is one disciplin i can just never improve beyond "slightly better than useless" so naturally there was a transition to another mod..interestingly, i never knew of hermskii and his servers as i usually just connected randomly thru "populated server" on the server search page in ut99...so it was strange that i would fall into 3 of his randomly...must say something huh? .i ran into MHM...played there for quite a while mostly under the name of assmonkey...and then slowly made a transition to CG's where i found i had fitted in quite nicely...i spent quite alot of time here feeling like i was finally home....and getting quite alot of wins (not that i was following wins) but it seemed like a deemer just felt better in my hands than any other ut weapon... one day i was happily blowing everyone away at Curious George's without much resistance when this charictor MEAT entered the map...Within seconds my High frag rate was depleted to massive negative figures and here this person was that had beaten me better than anyone ever!!!

Naturally i said....teach me!....(waiting for a nice warm cup of "GET F&%*#$) he said sure... and so we went over to AlamForna where there are no other players..(after MEAT making me change my name from assmonkey to bumMonkey to be more political for the kiddies!).and there he gave me a few brief tips on the art of deemer...then dissapeared... I havnt looked back since. Been there more than anywhere. Sure i like to go and play insta everynow and again. maybe some MH..even CG for nostalgia sakes...but NEVER sniper!!! lol..but MRS ROCKS MY WORLD!!!

I played ALL UT game types - like most of them except LMS.
Played on and off on the old redeemer servers - I was so curious! LOL
Even ran my own servers quite a bit in the old days - still have 2.
But Redeemer seems to stick with me - even though I am a far better player at regular UT, Zark, Sniper and Insta than I am at redeemer, I seem to like Redeemer just a bit more than the other game types!
Here I am!
I Play CG, MRS and my own CMM!

The empire known as {MRS} was the brain child of Hermskii and I really think it was his way of getting me off {CG}…lol
You see back in the day I use to complain about {CG}…it’s smaller generic spray maps and numerous flaccid bots.
And I also use to biatch a lot about other players and their use or misuse of the redeemer.
You might say I was hated for speaking my mind.
Plus at the same time my redeemer skills, much of which I learned from Hermskii, were improving and that also pissed people off.
But all along I still wasn’t satisfied playing {CG}. I wanted {CG} to evolve but Hermskii wasn’t budging.
So instead Hermskii talked me into (twisted my arm) and helped me build {MRS}.
Basically {MRS} is everything I wanted {CG} to be….
…larger non-spraying maps where the redeemer could be used at its fullest.
…less but more aggressive bots that do fight back.
…spawn protection so that anyone that enters a game has a fair start.
And it was tough being the new Redeemer server on the block, especially when I was hated by most.
But gradually {MRS} became a household name and was also featured in Forbes magazine as the “Best Redeemer Server of all Times”.
And as for MEAT…I first appeared on the screen as a sniper but later stumbled upon the redeemer world by accident.
I guess I’m lucky that Hermskii didn’t ban me the first week…lol

I'm here because I played 8 or so matches on CG and decided I could now post in the MRS and RVH forums, despite the fact I have only ever played the same gametype with different settings on a different server.

I should really get involved in a few more nuclear armageddons, but...

I see campers,
they're everywhere,
they walk around like everyone else,
they don't even know that they're annoying.

Plus people make fun of me because at redeemer I'm a noob with a funny character
