Shout box

We need a shout box here that only registered members can see, so that we can leave a quick "shout" when there's something wrong on one of the servers. They've had one over at Excalibur Holland for years. Why can't that be done here?

Since there isn't one here at this time, I need to report a problem at CG. There's some map on there now called "UT Logo Map". It downloads in about 2 seconds, but then nothing happens. You end up at a black screen that says Unreal Tournament on it. And that's as far as you get. The server is broken, or that map is bad. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news once again!

I will look at SHout box and yes, I made a change at CG yesterday and surely broke it. Dang. I'm so tired and all these odd things are popping up. Need to watch news.

the UT2004 Invasion server I played on had a shoutbox, you get people saying thing like "yay we just won!" or "hey everyone!" or "im going back to school =(" or "join the fight NOW!".

It doesn't do much but it's kinda fun.
The "help meeeee" messages are the best.

I believe Hermskii is talking about a "Shout Box" HERE on THIS forums!
I have one on mine - but I don't use it as it discourages people from actually POSTing!
The map in question, "UT Logo Map", is just a map that UT uses for the opening "splash" when you open UT.
That is ALL it does.
When it opens, you need to hit "Esc" on your keyboard.
This map shouldn't come up when playing a server though - And Hermskii FIXED it now!
