OK - What Server and What - Give Specifics!

Don't worry - we can help! (I am the No See Server Poster Child)
Many times you cannot SEE your own server.
That is a given in a lot of UT Server situations!
First things first.
Make sure your server is up and running according to the way Hermskii describes in his Server Manual!
OK Now...
One way to tell if your server is showing for real is to go look here... (Click on YOUR Server's GameType!)
(Then you can also Sort by Server name, map or whatever)(It updates every hour only)

OR... (Same as above but for MonsterHunt Sorted by Server Name)

Its up and runnning, i was able to enter it, it showed up on LAN, its doesnt show up anywhere else, should i disable Optimize for LAN and just keep Advertise server? everythign should be fine.

EDIT: I tried gametracking it, but it said it was a private address

Yes, diable optomize for lan. That is not the problem but you still don't want that turned on. What is the OS of the box this server runs on?

Nah its probly router related, try going into the router settings and opening the ports for UT or setting up a DMZ on your server computers IP address.

I dont really know anything about setting up a server but this could help.

Well he told me that when he built his first server it was connected via cable and the server was working fine, so I guess it could be a wireless related problem, but I'm not sure.

Vista has a firewall built in. Is UT set to pass packets through it? If you have a router too, is it set to forward packets? Do you have any Norton software running at all on that PC like virus-scan or internet security?
