Using two monitors?

Post by MEAT » Wed Nov 18, 2009 5:30 pm

I've been accused of a lot of things (cheats) but using two monitors?
Come on Terminal_Flatulance I don't need to cheat to win.
First off I have no idea how that would work.
And if it did work what advantage would that give me?
I don't think I would see twice as much playing field or see
around corners.
Currently I use a 19 inch monitor and sometimes that seems big.
So, has anyone ever heard of using two monitors?

I guess it refers to having a spectator view on one monitor and a player view on another, but sometime the last words of a dying noob don't make sense :)

That sounds like a cheat that isn't detectable?
You would have to connect TWO games running at the same time to do this.
One playing as a spectator.
But both would show up using the same IP.
Other players may not be able to detect this though, but an admin would.

On another note, I see some players using the same IP but, when asked, they are on the same network server so they use the same IP on the WAN.

Maybe, just maybe, people should get better and not worry about if someone is cheating. This is redeemer and Klownz can't imagine how you could cheat with what amounts to a small tactical nuclear weapon. Try getting better . . . like not getting fragged by Klownz all the time . . . that would be a step up . . . . So sayeth the Klownz . . .
Evil is obvious only in retrospect.

Poor Terminal Flatulence always had some weird ideas of what's happening around him !

I remember he used to accuse of cheat (or so) anyone that was guiding :D

But it is a real plesure for me having him in game : a very funny opponent

90 degrees on each monitor...
Hard to ambush him but you have to admire his multitasking :)
