MSN not Forum

I'd like to propose a motion:

If we start to have a forum fight, we take it over to MSN and don't do it on the forums.
MSN is much faster, can involve multiple people, and is as close to all meeting up in real life as we're ever going to get.

So if we start to argue on the forums, let's take it to MSN instead of this turn-based combat that we know from UMH gets us nowhere.

I sincerely hope we can have this as the default.

That way we can decide who the idiot is and who is right or wrong...

we all had a talk on MSN and thanks to bio and rei, everything is fineish now, its alot faster and better

Why not have something like on myspace with the little bar on the bottom where you can get in a chatroom with people online, why not do one of those for arguements, or have an entire forum dedicated to them? If there's a topic on one of the other forums that starts up an argument, just move it.

There is no real guidance here either, no offense Herm. If there were a strong admin presence, it would never get like this.

I've watched the tone become decidedly mean-spirited and harsh in the last year. The forum could do with some forcing of people to take things to PM, and some corrections of tone.

Once upon a time an "<expletive deleted>" in someone's post would bring about some peer pressure to not repeat since this is a big issue with Herm. Now, it's totally ignored and somewhat accepted.

The forum could do with some forcing of people to take things to PM, and some corrections of tone.

Taking discussions to PM or like the cow suggested, even to MSN is the best thing to do. Forum has to be clean and polite. This should not be a place to solve your differences.

Oh oh. It sounds like some rules got broken while I was out. I still haven't made it up to the scene of the crime but I can already smell blood. What is it with you folks that gets you so PASSIONATE! I'm still smiling right now.
