File mismatch help

Post by MEAT » Tue Mar 30, 2010 12:02 pm

Having a strange time accessing a server (The Bull sniper server) because of a file mismatch.
However I can't figure out how/why there would be a mismatch.
The mismatch is for package DM-BULL_Station451SE which is no where in my player setup.
Can someone please try connecting to this server and see if you get the same mismatch?
The server again is "The Bull sniper server"...ip 87.106.65.27:7737
Thanks...

I am at work and cannot try it but maybe this map has something that is used in it that is a mismatch?

Happens to me also, but I'm 100% sure it's a server-side issue, since I don't have that map neither installed nor cached. What I think is probably happening is the version on their server and the redirected version are different, or they have loaded the map twice on the server itself. :|

P.S. What is this thing I had to download from there: ESG_No16bits :?
16 bit color depth is no longer allowed?!

Did you nuke your cache folder AND all of the .tmp files in the root of C:\Unrealtournament folder? Yes, also make sure you don't see that file in a texture folder or somewhere else were it ought to be if you ever installed the map. Peace.

Yes I did all the obvious stuff and I even went as far as installing UT again.
But I had the same results/mismatch even with the fresh install.... :(

Most likely the admin mistakenly added it as a server package. You would not believe the things I see in ini files.
