I guess I gotta agree with Hermskii but there is another side to this...
Sometimes I don't have the time to log in and respond to posts, etc., so I don't log in.
I just scan and look for new posts that are obvious.
Then, later, when I have more time, I can come back and log in and view all the new posts and take my time.
Kind of a catch 22 but maybe it would be best to leave it open to guests?
Or, maybe Mostly open to guests?

As far as Google and the like? ...
On my forums, I have over 50 Search Engines as Members!
They are signed up and log in and have access to virtually everything.
I can of course limit where they can go if I want.
I don't know if Hermskii has the same mod or not?

I have the same complaint when players use aliases on our servers.
Then they'll start talking chit about me which in turn causes me to talk chit.
Then they run to Hermskii complaining that I made them cry.
Then Hermskii biatches at me because everyone knows I'm the azzhole here.

Come on Herm don't be mean and leave the forum board accessible to everyone. Most of the players just don't like registering on the forums, plus locked stuff tends to irritate random guests and they'll end up leaving the servers for good, thinking we're some kind of "elite" group.

I in first person dislike when I have to be a registered member somewhere just to download a stupid map or mutator, or view an attached file.
