Some of you may know me, im KK from HUTP, server admin and novice mapper(just started) I know hermskii,gopostal, meat as well as a few more, I am getting into the creative and editing side of UT and hope to get some more information/tutorials and help from some of you, I recently finished my first ever UT CTF map and if anyone is interested I will gladly send you a copy for review and critique, thanks guys.

I tend focus on the combat and immersion side of UT, so I guess this makes me the doorman Jokes aside, we have some pretty skilled people around who should be able to help.

Hello Killer! I thought you were stepping away from and not towards it. I'm gtlad to see you made the right choice and I'm sorry it took so long to reply if it did. I just now have my system in a forever forward state and up and running too! We expect big things here from you and feel free to post your map here. Peeps will grab it, play it and ruhlessly tell you how they feel about it. Expect to take some damage but it is all for the better as you map going forward.

Time for me to be belated....
I want a copy of your map. I wanna see if I can find some ways to make it more realistic and maybe add some extra features. I'm not super great but still decent at making advanced stuff, but with my best efforts I can make something look really good!

I can make red base and you can make blue base with one theme if you want to. Share any other methods of creating it, I'm all ears.

Well I was actually wanting a DM arean with differen mini arenas built into it: liek a shock arena/ sniper arean and rocket arena, with members pics laid out all over the map. the arenas would be circular(made of glass)for spectators. and the rocket arean would be rectangular.

Well, I have a fairly good way of putting that together.
How about having the amount of arena's in the map in it's own little skyscraper, and there are bridges at different levels connecting them together and it's above a a city so if you fall off your dead. Each level has a different section of each arena, and at the very top level there is this slanted glass that looks down upong the entire arena in each skyscraper, so people could go up there and watch people fight if they wanted. Your map, your choice I'm merely making suggestions.

wow that would be great, and don't worry about texturing, i'll handle that cause i have to get members pics in somehow. and i don't know how to do skyboxes either

I'm good with skyboxes, I usually make them believable.
I will just make a little frame with a default texture reserved for the picture.
