Actually I tested the first Nali Weapons in that map (so you can tell how much time that map was already finished before release). LOL :mrgreen:

Btw, that map owner (Creavion) made also the most impressive maps in the pack, which the most impressive one wasn't that one, but this one:
http://www.ut99.org/utr/kamah-dm.html

The most extreme beach/tropical map ever made for UT99, no joke. It lags only a bit in some areas, but it's cool enough to forget those little laggy moments. :mrgreen:

It just looks like a 2004 map!
I'm sure if I went there there would be a countdown saying "Next wave in..."

And according to Feralidragon, it also has historical value
.
And it was on this very spot that the Elemental Nali and the Tech Nali united and said:

"Let us create an arsenal that when wielded by even the least skilled civillian shall bring forth unimaginable destruction upon the heads of the Sky Demons and their foul minions!!!"

Hopefully they will run on the "Average" Computer! :roll:

EDIT: Oh and do you HAVE to use that UTR PickUp System?
I see that ALL of these maps are set up for that! :shock:
Can we use the maps Without running the UTR PickUp System? :?:
That was Failed to be mentioned that these maps do Not appear to be for bare bones UT99!!! :shock:
PS: It is 362 MB Big!

Well, they are Very Large in file size, have a lot of "gadgets" (baggage) to go with them, some look pretty darn good, but for the most part play laggy.
Read MY opinion :arrow: http://hooksutplace.freeforums.org/view ... f=14&t=812

We actually had all of these on our New CROSSBONES "Multi-Game Type" server but they proved pretty troublesome and bulky for online play. (Heck - even for offline on some of them)
We had to remove most of them. :|
We still have a few of these maps, the smaller ones, on this New server... (well, I may as well announce it somewhat)...
* CROSSBONES Lucifur's Den {CLD}
* Our NEW (10 slot) UT99 Multi-GameType and BUNNY TRACKS++ Server
* DM, TDM, INSTAGIB, AS, CTF, SNIPER, DOM, LMS and BT++! and more!!!

Actually? - Most people can hardly even run this map! :P
You gotta have a pretty High End machine to even run it from the posts coming in from players who have tried to run it or have run it.
Very laggy - and the authors recommend that it shouldn't even be on a server.

You Bet!
And, like I said - In MY Opinion, This UTR map pack instead of being an "advancement" for UT99 is more like a "side step" for UT99. :wink:
Real Advancements to UT99, at least in Mapping for UT99, are Realized in Maps by Authors such as Birdieman I think.
Maps of his doing such as Mita][ and his "Unit" series (now playing on CLD and CMM - and I bet more servers soon LOL) Play very well and are not Huge in file size, but have a lot packed into them! :P
Another of these Great Maps of Recent Addition is DM-WormWood! (mapper's name to come)
Just to name a few! 8)
Very well done!
