HELP! map making

:!: i need help on making some maps i used to make maps with brush scaling and then when i go to youtube they dont use it. is brush scaling bad? they right click on the block and size it with numbers......

Are you a beginner to UED or are you known with the editor?

Ontopic:
No it is not bad, what it does is making your complete 'layout' or 'overview' confusing.
And the textures maybe scaled different because the brush is too.

If you are new then probably go with the scaling, try to keep it at 8 or 16 unreal units, my Doom map is mostly scaled but you can enter numbers for most shapes.

I don't know if it's bad or not, I just know I did it on a couple brushes in DM-Foom and they worked ok. I wanted to uniformly shrink a brush so I have a brush with

Brush.MainScale.Scale.X = 0.75
Brush.MainScale.Scale.Y = 0.75
Brush.MainScale.Scale.Z = 0.75

Keep it on the grid and you should be Okay buddy.
p.s-(right-mouse click to snap on grid if it doesn't seem to line up or change your grid count to a smaller increment on the bottom of the editor, for example 16-to-8-4...etc.
