little confused myself is it even real? or im just getting screwed cuz i cant find it i would like to use it.

Hey Wild, I think you mean Unreal engine 2.5(think bioshock 2,deus ex 2 games), there is no urneal editor 2.5 though it is just a modified unreal engine 2.0. Hope this helps.

Yes, don't use anything other than UnrealEd2.0 from UT99 436 version for UT99 mapping!
You can add on extensions to that version but do not use anything else for mapping for UT99!

Yes, that is what I meant...
There are little add-on features you can "patch" onto UnrealEd2.0 that add extra buttons and things like that.

Hm, let me post something about editing. When I saw one or two maps with BSP holes I throwed them in editor for fixes. Guess which editor I'm using for such jobs ? Exactly 2.1 Standalone, in fact I implemented it in a 440 version, that version is now altered, cannot be used for NetPlay (not ever server or client because of some files ported from Standalone editor, without them Editor won't work normally) but is working very well for editing, fixing, Local testing.

So, last version known by me is 2.1 Standalone.

There is something I read about version 2.1 - I asked about it but they told me to use 2.0, as 2.1 wasn't good for mapping for UT99 for some reason.
I can't remember what the reason was, but I think it was on UT99.org.
Was it what you said above?

I don't know any bad reason, I didn't used it very intensive but I fixed a few real craps, I was really confused about using BlockAll to fix BSP holes, since I removed them pretty easy. I used it in decompiling is studying classes, maybe an intensive work with it will show the bad part of 2.1 Editor. In fact, in my first meet with it I saw it runing in its own place like other UT installed without launcher .exe. I copied those files altering an UT used for editing and I can work with it, in that place I had all files installed, maps, test-maps, all stuff. Was a bit nasty to copy all stuff in Standalone Editor wasting HDD space, so I decided to copy editor in UT, and was succesfull.
