Mismatch? I never had a mismatch problem with it.

What was it?

Nelsona:
Man, Final version should be renamed to some _final sufix or else will mismatch already done first version.
That's why!

Not yet, but can be something like this if something is wearing the same name.

For some refresh of memories.

I wanna thank you for making MH-AfterDark[final]. It's definitely a step up and I'm actually starting to like the music. However, I think it may become necessary, depending on how you feel about this, to make a MH-AfterDark[final-er][final] because there's something in here I didn't notice before.

As stated previously, when I test out a map (or just in general play at home) I have a team of bots with me. It's likely because of this that I didn't notice this the first time I reviewed your original map but I definitely caught it with the [final] one.

Starting off you're in one room, you go through a large door into the next room, weaponize yourself, and then open another door to get to the monsters. To open the 2nd door you have to hit this switch just right of the door...

...well, I never noticed the 1st door also has a switch. I didn't notice because generally when I started getting situated, one of the bots opened the door. However, the bots don't hit the switch to open the door...they just walk up to the middle of the door, tough it, and it opens.

Image

As you can see, the switch is still down.

Whoops!

On a random note, I advise everyone not to use a cluster redeemer like DeemerFireWorks on this map. Certainly not with the first Titan as it's a trigger to open the door that's just past it. Seems I hadn't taken this into account when I shot one at the thing but instead of killing it...

Image

...it launched the titan over the doorway to where it became exceedingly difficult to kill without cheating.

Cluster deemers BAD.

Aw man... I can't edit my posts here and I made a horrid typo: they just walk up to the middle of the door, tough it

That should be "touch it".
  :|

Ah I see, to be honest I already noticed that in the very first edtition! I replaced the 'bugged' trigger with a new one and the bots can still open up the door. In fact there it is not a problem but there should be a small fix for it in a another version, but I think I leave it this way.

I ran into this the other day. I dont use cluster deemers (or whatever that is) on my server.
My server spawns normal and Super Sonic Deemers and the titan was still blasted over the door. We had to jump shoot the titan until it was dead, then the door opened up. The players that dont see the titan hop the door are left with.. "Ok, what do we do....??"

Well it would be crazy if I build another final version with larger doors, just because of special redeemers... hm....

A classic example is DeemerFireworks:
http://pics.livejournal.com/evilgrins/pic/00bksgta

It launches and travels at a fairly slow pace, launching multicolored mortars in it's wake. Each mortar explodes with the force of an actual redeemer. Depending on how far it goes before it runs into something it can't get thru, that's a lot of damage and nuke blasts.

Oh ok.. now I know what you are talking about. That was included in a map I had on my server which I had removed.... That deemer would lag the server somthing terrible when you get 4 or 5 players abusing it and it would make some players mad asking not to spam that Deemer.

My server hands out the normal MH2Redeemer which players can carry 2 of. Its slow and can be piloted.

Then once in a while it will hand out the SuperSonic or UniRedeemer to a player... its a 3 shot, non-pilotable, scoped very fast slim Redeemer that i can adjust the speed of. It was set up for my server by my request. It was a quick and dirty modification by gopo. Nothing really new or anything, just different Redeemer mechanics over the standard Deemer.

Oh I wouldn't go through the trouble of another version. It doesnt happen very often. Maybe plan to fix if there there are other major fixes you are making to the map.
