I was thinking of this version, which is the one I've posted a link to:

MH-MHMDeadCityVillage{beta7}

Advantages:
1 - It's the latest public version made by Gopostal
2 - It's actually two maps in one: a remixed version of the (in)famous MH-DeadCity2 map + the village itself
3 - Non-MHM players won't be easily bored, since they can go and kill the zombies in the DeadCity
4 - Even HellFire suggested to use this version
5 - There are less bugs than the previous beta versions

Drawbacks:
1 - The SendMePacking mutator may become annoying after a while
2 - The map is still affected by some unfixable bugs
3 - The village part doesn't look that great, at least to me
4 - The map size is huge (25MB or so only for the UNR file) and I doubt your server could handle it

Is this description good enough? If you guys have suggestions and/or complaints, post them now or it's gonna be too late.

Ok POTS, {MHM}DeadCityVillage{beta7} it will be then. I'm doing it mostly for you but also for Gopo cuss he has done so much for me here and you say he had his hand in this map.

POTS it has simply been a freaking pleasure to have you on this forum. I greatly appreciate all you bring to the show with yourself. You are always positive, always helpful, always polite and always respectful. You know when to talk and when not to. You know when to complain and when not to and you silently try to keep people in check. Thank you so much!

Herm I have a request for you: may you please get rid of the following map:
MH-hebereke_gaiden or however it's spelled.

I'm not sure about the version, but if you have different versions installed get rid of all the hebereke_gaiden maps (only those named "gaiden" though, the other Hebereke maps are fine).

Why? Well I've been playing this map so many times, and I can assure you it's impossible to finish it, trust me, even with 10 players on the server. There are really too many endless spawning monsters in the last room, and you have to guide redeemers through a small pipe, but in order to take the deemers someone has to push a button on the opposite side of the room and someone else must cover you. Most players can't simply end the map and don't even know how to vote (sigh) so they're stuck for the rest of their lives in that map or they end up leaving the server.

The way to end the map is by killing a stupidly tough devilfish in a pond BUT...

The pond is at the end of a tunnel high in a wall so it can only be reached with guided Redeemers BUT...

The Redeemers only spawn on a super-tall pillar that is in the middle of a field, and can only be lowered by pressing the button AND...

The button is at the top of large ziggarat style building you need to take elevators up AND...

The elevators are slow moving, and are on opposite sides of the building from eachother so you need to run across the entire building AND...

There is are around thirty infinitely respawing Warlords, Behemoths and Giant Gasbags.

Definately the server's worst map.

Looks like one of those maps that are best "out of sight, out of mind".
If it's at the Funhouse, I'll nuke it from there as well.

I found where I had removed but set aside several other maps due to an old issue I could not figure out a while back. Well, I figured out how to get around the issue on a few like MH-Bluff so I readded it back along with some MH-At0001 maps or something like that. I'm sure somebody will let me know if they crash or lock up the server due to missing files. Thanks!

How about remove MH-MonsterTunnel and/or MH-Sake..
Both maps with loads of spam added.. kinda boring to me..
Rei and I played it yesterday and I think he will agree on removing it.

Oh MH-SAKE...

That's just terrible, it drops you into grey boxes and then spawns loads of enemies, the only way to win is to die and die until you whittle their numbers away.
I hate the "buzz-saw" style of map.

I like MH-SAKE :cry: :P
some people like it. The other day actually someone voted for it because they like doing the BT to unlock everything and then killing the monsters. Its a map kind of like Deadcity you either think its fun or you hate it.

MH-MONSTER_TUNNEL_FIX seems to be the very first map of a newbie mapper: cubic rooms, corridors obtained by "chopping" cubes, monsters randomly scattered here and there and above all, no weapons at all but your own enforcer.
I don't know, maybe it's just a beta map but I don't care: nuke it now!
Wow can't believe that map is still on the server.


As regards MH-SAKE_fix4 I personally don't mind. The BT is hard but some players vote that map just for doing the BT. Well the monsters are pretty tough and annoying but so are those in MH-SevenTests. :P
Plus Ice likes the map sooooo... :mrgreen:
