http://www.monsterhuntmayhem.com/forum3/ is the forum, is not the prettiest ever but its something!

Since im going ot be owner/admin of the site im gonna add the following Main Topics:

Down to buisness
I think we should need only one topic on that forum for now.
Simply because if we are to ever use this forum we would be moving this forum there correct?
So we do not need to waste time messing with topics. they will all come when the board is copied over. "and because people don't want two forums about the same thing.

What is important is the way the forum looks and the layout of the forum.
Is everything the way you want it?
We need to talk about the theme we want and we need to talk about the functionality. Are the tables to everyone's satisfaction?
Here are my beefs with it:

What is that first section called? User id area? It stretches all the way across the screen. After a few posts it becomes confusing to the eye what is what. It is also a gaping giant black space. That is allot of wasted space.
Every forum i have been on has used the smaller side box like we have on the MHM forums. Looks much better small imho.
Also the topic title is really obtrusive. And it confuses the eyes as well.
It redirects your eyes away from what is important. "The posts"
The Posts should be the most noticeable and easy to read text on the page. notice on MHM forum how the title of the thread is not bold or colored.

Thoughts?

I agree with everything, it is a bit confusing, Its Gopostals work btw, and hes teachign me how to fix stuff up, and btw im srry for the incovience right now of my 2 week bet. But lets not rush into the site (Since its ognna be hard without me at my home computer of course) Lets just come up with ideas and such. I know that has nothing ot do with right now but keep that in mind.

Yes it is confusing, I was thinking on making something like this forum, maybe a bit different. I also need a new theme... Curoius Geaorge is on there LOL Surpeme was thinking maybe us two on one side, Some monsters on the other.. not a BAD idea (But the fact its just us two is kinda wrong) But something like that... Well we hsould get into what we have before waht we can design since we cant deign something we dont have... lol thinking out loud on a keyboard again...

Anyway once my 2 weeks is up we can get to wrok on it, But for now Ideas need to be made. Im sorry if this is a inconvience but that deal i made with my dad is kinda important to me. I may have forgotten i can still acess forums.

If that pic is not suiting we can have a photo shoot match where herms stands in front of that castle map he likes. It would look good.
We could do some floor vantage poits , looking up at him getting the full shot of the castle in the background. He would be all majestic holding up a big deemer!

That all sounds fine about the logo with CG crawling on leg or something sounds cool.

About the forum there, I would do as K says and not copy same stuff there as already here. I'm going fast right now. I have both kids by myself since my wife is at school right now. I'll be back on tonight after 9:00 PM
