I was on with {MHM}ReaperGuy. He had some other name and was asking me how to join. I directed him to the forums and advised him to tag his name. And he did and actually changed his name. I do not have a problem with him using the name ReaperGuy. We had a great time together and I look forward to hunting again with him. I am kind of flattered that he chose a variant of Reaper...

Hahahaha! You people put way too much into this. Be careful! Don't burn out. I stay sometimes to make sure I never burn out.

It was just a few short years ago I almost handed over {CG}, {MHM}, this forum and the entire website to a member here. (TRUE)

I look back now and only think that it was a good thing I didn't. The person I had chosen was very well deserving but in the year I had decided to do this they showed signs of stress and I backed out luckily.

As it stands right now, if I were to burn out again which is unlikely, I would hand it over to....

Well, let's just say that it is a person who would cuddle and nurture my servers as I have and would basically leave them untouched as I usually do. You have to give me a little credit. As far as MH goes, even as {MHM} is, it will stay in the top 10 if not the top 5 so long as it is running. {CG} is another story. While it will live forever too, servers like MEAT's and Klownz's are the new generation and I accept that. Hook's will always be in the grey area between which is the safest area to be in.

Back to point. Just be warned that there are better things in life to do than concern yourself with who wears what tag. They will come and they will go. Your life will be no better for paying attention. This simply is the way it is. Accept it and move on if you want to or hang out and keep enjoying the show. THERE IS NO WRONG ANSWER! Unless you burn out. Don't burn out! Peace all!

For me it's ok if people wear the tag but if they go to other servers and *maybe* start to behave badly there {MHM} will be seen as *naab* (to say it in my terms) people..
Like the UMH incident.

I mean why be MHM and never return on the forum or even register.
Some people only want the tag to look ''interesting''.
I know it's a free tag but just had to say this

Indeed, you see so many randoms wearing the tag you start to wonder if we get a bad name.

But then again, we like to enjoy ourselves instead of rushing the exit so we already have a bad name on most servers

Most of the players on that list in the earliest generations started out as "random players"
I was {MHM}BiGbOsS way before i joined the forums.
To support a server you just have to play on it regularly, yes Joining up at the forums helps support it, and posting helps even more too, but for some people (like me for about a year) are fine just playing on the servers wearing tag of the server they support.
So don't always down on the "random players", because sometimes they are the ones to continue on the tradition....and sometimes they "Burn out"
And when it comes down to other servers you just have to accept the fact that you only control so much, and cant stop every player from going on another server and messing up that server's rules

And if someone random starts to wear it it's just.. like he/she's an outsider who doesn't really care about MHM but just uses the tag to look ''interesting'' or to be in a ''clan''.
We only were it as a respect to Herm and as a kind of group tag.
Players who don't talk and annoy others and wear the tag is just a kind of bad advertise.
Ofcourse we are defensive and we wanna be sure to get a good person.
Not every person who asks to join is a good person.
Maybe it's a cheater or someone who annoys everyone.

Yes, same for me, I started playing on the server nearly one year before I joined the forums, until Supreme finally convinced me.

So people like deadmeat, MinderBinder and Ree$e (just to name a few), who are regulars, have to be considered MHMers? They're good, fair players and all, but they're not an active part of the group I think.

Yes, unfortunately there's little or no control over them. If we were a "real" clan we could use some kind of clan-tag protection and stuff, but well...
