Re: {MHM}Team Video!
This was a good picture, pity I was not using the Necris Trainee skin.
P.S. Hope you know how to record demos and stuff.

Cool video. I liked it. Let's try to take more screenshots this weekend.

Yay!
Looks like we're a skilled group of players who also enjoy goofing around, accuracy award!
Is everyone happy with how their screenshots turned out?
I like mine, there was a narrow corridor which an infinite amount of respawning zombies came out of, and I just stood at the end with an instagib rifle set to automatically fire.
I was typing while my score went berserk, and I looked like a ghost cow in the screenshot!
After every person's screenshot features them at the top of a scoreboard, matrix's just features him being shot by 3 people . Somewhat implies he's a newbie. (Ok, it's not innacurate it's just a sudden change)
Oh by the way, I have a good amount of experience with Microsoft Office Powerpoint, which is used for presentations. I'm not sure if you can use a PowerPoint presentation as a YouTube video though.
I don't know what I'd do but it basically means I could do all sorts with the way the screenshots appear and disappear, wheels, stretches, stars, dissolves, pinwheels, etcetera etcetra, if any of them work or look good.

Re: {MHM} Video!
hmm, cool. . . Has anyone thought about making a real movie? There is a feature in UT where you can film the gameplay. It's called making a demo. Or you could use the fraps program to record it. I think it would be cool to get a bunch of regulars on film finishing a map from beginning to end. Anyone up to the challenge?

Re: {MHM} Video!
No not quite like that. I mean more of a real time walk through a map. Maybe a group of hunters so the camera can switch around. It would be amazing if done right.HELL§N|PE® wrote: k, I've done that before.

Re: {MHM} Video!
Use Fraps. It makes a super large file but you can edit it fairly easily with Windows movie maker (for free) and it gives a pretty good result. Here is an old movie I had made to pimp the Vault:
The Vault
It's in flv format but that's due to it being the format you use to embed videos onto a website. This only took an afternoon to do as most of the time was spent making the two maps you see in the video. Had I only needed to splice captured footage together, it would have only taken a couple of hours. The clip is kinda hokey but if someone spent time and effort, it doesn't take a lot to get higher-quality results. This one is almost cringe-worthy, but it gives you an idea that its possible and easy to make an interesting video from game footage.
