Looking for a type of MH map...

Hey I was wondering of anyone knew if there was such a map with a Stargate Theme to it... using gate travel as a means to transport from one area to another. I know of only one map in existence for DM called DM-lol-stargate. However, I have not been able to find any stargate MH maps. Im a big fan of this show and would love to have these maps if they are out there.

Only some maps with one ''startgate''.
MH-GateX has one to the final area and MH-(_@_)Stargate has also one.
It's not like there are many stargate's in one map.

Also MH-Planeshifter got some portals that leads to different worlds; they're not real stargates but they're close enough.

Mandrake I have a version of MH-GatewayCoop that might fit your bill. It's more a "hub" map but I made it so that you could warp between MH servers without crashing anyone. The warps are especially well made too, though this is not a true MH map in the strictest sense.

Ok cool - I noticed I have gatex on my server so Ill check it out. The others I dont have and will try to find them. I will provide a link to the DM map I have so you can check it out. Very nicely done map- several gates and a detailed Stargate Command control room. It even has the teleport rings that the goa'uld use. I think it could be a nice Monsterhunt map convert lol

There is a really nice one in attacked4, though the MH version has ruined it. Play the SP version and you can see it in it's glory.

The map itself does look alright but there are a few problems, 1: it's a little too small and corridor-ish for a MH Map, and 2: The machine guns at the portal completely crash your PC.

The guns crash your pc??? Ive played that map many times without any problems. That is odd. but yeah it could make for a rather short map due to the size of each zone you gate too.

Oh I want too, blieve me I do. I just need a noob guide to get me started. I once made a map.. a cube just to see if I could do it and run around inside.... I started the map and fell to my death... Never got back to it since lol
