MH-Bluff Eversmoking, and the door of doom.

I jumped onto MHM tonight, so that I could play MH-Bluff. But the door leading out of the spawn room bounced off of the skaarj outside it again, trapping all of the players inside. A map vote had to be called up, because the map could not be played. :?

I have mentioned this problem over at the Excalibur forums in the past. The fix over there was to do something to the custom mutator that they run over there, so that "movers" were fixed, which allows the door to open. Could Bigi do something like this too, with his mutator?

I'll check but BIGI is busy with his life and I leave him alone until he gets in the groove and then I tend to hammer him with requests. He's due to be hammered so I'll ask!

It should be possible with a few lines of code like the guy from Ex said...but he said it wasn't working...don't know. I can look at it today.

He said it was fixed in the code, actually.

But I did get a strip ripped off of me for daring to suggest that the map be fixed! :o :lol: :lol:

Hey all,

It is indeed fixed in the code of our mutator. Don't ask me how but i know Cardi did it. So if you could fix it in the code you will fix also more levels that could have that problem :wink:

Well I'm certainly glad to hear that a small change in the mutator's code could fix things in more maps than just MH-Bluff. :D
Lord knows there are enough semi broken maps out there as it is. ;)

yer and this problem still aint been fixed all the have to do is to remove or reponsition the skaarj it aint rocket science people if anyone needs it doing ill do for em too fix this dam anoying problem.
