A while back there was a survey that the company that runs HOOK's server had on his forum. I did the survey and the only negative thing I mentioned was the page load speeds. I gave every question that had anything to do with it the lowest score I could.

I noticed last night and again today that they have done something about it. This is true at mars007's forum as well. The pages all load about 5X faster than ever before. Sweet! I hope it stays this way.

I banged on them that it represents them badly and I would not recommend their forum program to anyone because of it. I was being honest. I guess they listened.

When it is something in their control, they usually respond ASAP!

My guess as to why it took them time to fix that was probably because it required an update to some underlying service that runs the forums such as SQL or PHP. Sometimes updating those critical services can be scary & break things in the process. I've been there, LOL

In any case the lag issues I felt with Hooks forum is gone. Thats good news!
