I don't have a clue what my password is at Hooks place so I'm going to borrow a post on this forum with the hopes he will see it.

Can you please remove my account from the members list please? One thing that I cannot stand is getting unsolicited spam emails from forums. I just got this:

and of course the page is filled with ads. Hook has not responded to Terra's *very* legit concern over tapatalk's BS integration but that decision is ultimately Hook's to make. However mine is not to be disturbed, especially given that I do not post there.

Please let me know I have been removed. Bothering people with ad driven emails from your forum is a very fast way to kill it dead. Terra is right, you should go back. At the very least don't ever send out mass "updates" unless it's clearly desired by the members.

Sorry for the late response but been busy.
Yeah those notifications from the forum are a bit anoying, especially if you had them turned off before Tapatalk bought out our forum's host.
Tapatalk reset the notifications to default as on - arg.
Also, No we cannot change the current forum back the way it was.
It is based on phpbb and tapatalk now, same as UT99.org is also.
Anyway...
Any members who want the notifications of replies etc off have to go back in and turn them off.
Anyway Kelly your account has been fixed to not let any emails go through, as you may have noticed this was also posted over at HUTP!

OFFICIAL POSTING about the New HUTP!

It is Official (since Jan 9, 2018 at 3:50pm)
Hook's UT Place (HUTP) has parted with tapatalk.
Hook's UT Place (HUTP) has gone with a new host that is NOT based with tapatalk! :D
(no more spam emails from tapatalk now)

I have since seen also that UT99.org has now followed HUTP in parting with tapatalk! :wink:
Good move UT99.org !!! :P (like HUTP - UT99.org works way better now) :wink:
