Ultimate community map pack

Quite some time ago, I read something somewhere about this group of UT2k4 gamers and mappers who were determined to create really great playing UT 2004 maps that also looked visually stunning. I downloaded their first map pack and liked it. Tonight I went to their website and discovered that they had made 3 more map packs since that time. They had plans for a 5th pack, but it did not materialize. I am in the process of downloading their monster pack, of all four releases. It is 567MB in size. I can recommend the download on the strength of how good the first map pack was.

Alright, I may have gotten mixed up in my mind with a Russian map pack I downloaded for UT99 a long time ago. I don't seem to have any other map packs installed in UT2k4 that Herm doesn't have already. Ah well.

But I just play tested a few of the DM maps from the UCMP map pack. They all worked nicely, and were fun to play. And visually interesting to down right pretty, as promised.

I can therefore recommend this download to all.

Dying here right now trying to install this monster of a package to the server. I'm 9/10 of the way done. Great find Nameless! I'm anxious to see some of these myself!

I figured out the other map pack I had gotten. It was Unreal Playground's "Halloween Pack" for 2005. I went to their web site and there still seems to be lots of maps available there, some of them new this year. I can't say how good they may be though, of course.
