The 10,000 Club

Post by Hermskii » Fri Aug 12, 2011 3:14 pm

Just a quick "Congrats" shout out here to Zenny and Keller for doing what it takes to make it into the 10,000 Club.

Helen's server has a special scoreboard that he made himself. It keeps the scores of the top 100 players. You improve your position on the list by the amount of frags you collect.

I was all impressed with myself for making it into the top 5 (for a short time) on this list but it isn't just about making it into the top 5. Another goal is to break the 10,000 point mark. There are only 4 on the list to date. Helen, Larry, Zenny and Keller. I don't know if that is order in which they achieved this goal but they are the top 4 for sure right now.

The curve is a tough one. Most people on the top 10 list have less than 5,000 points and beneath the top 10 it is more like most have less than 1,500 or so. Don't quote me OK? Anyways, there are no easy frags here except when I walk off to smoke a cig and that only happens on Friday and Saturday nights currently.

If you want to sharpen your DeathMatch skills and see results for your efforts, this is the place where you want to be. Congrats again to you 4 at the top of the heap and especially to last 2 to get here. I'll see you there in about a year or so!
~Peace~

Would be sweet to put stats like headshots and double kills etc. Possible maybe??

Unfortunately no. These numbers are purely from my own tracking files, which only tracks total frags.

And also my host gameservers can't handle it when the normal stats turned on either, so those are turned off. Something about linux OS. Oh well.

Oh that's just great! Now David is hanging around too on Helen's server. I was all the way up to number 4 before Keller showed up. Last time I looked I was now number 7 on the list. Yes, no more top five for me. Now David is here too and I'll be knocked out of the top 10 by end of month I bet! LOL

I better show up and start getting some kills in. I have a cut on my primary fire finger that hurts like hell. Even typing this hurts being a hunt and peck typer.

David, you had already seen the scoreboard I thought. You had owned me pretty well last time we played there now that I nightmare about it. I mean think about it. LOL

I think David is referring to the web page stats, not the in-game one.

On another note...

I noticed that not only am I no longer in the top 5 but I'm also not even in the top 1o anymore but barely hanging on to a spot in the top 15. I'm OK with that...

The point to this is that several folks have not only passed me up but also reached the 10,000 frag peak of Mt. St. Helen's server. It is a goal I expect to reach at some point.

I challenge you folks to beat there! It is a well built, well run, fun server!

Congrats to Helen for that too.
~Peace~
