When i think about this it sounds pretty much impossible to do, but ill present my dilemma:
When ever i reinstall ut or restore my hardrive and i need to look for video drivers for my computer, or graphic renderers for ut, i come back here and use the search option, i also do this too look up keybinds, how to record demos, and other such useful things that i may need.
the problem is since the "Great Deletion" when you use the search option a bunch of DELETED threads popup, and it makes it hard to find exactly what you wanted.
By now you have probably realized what im getting at, so would it be possible to restore the names of at least some of the topics? Or close to the original names?
Of course we cannot restore the posts because everything was Deleted and on the post it just says "DELETED", but there are still other posts that are useful in that "DELETED" Topic.
I know it will take a lot of work, but i remember a bunch of the names(or pretty close to) of the original topics, so i could help. Say i would post a link to one of the "DELETED" topics, and then i can report what the name was, then Hermski or another mod can edit the topic and rename it so its more usefull than it currently is. With the combined knowledge of everybody here we could probably get most of the "DELETED" threads done.
Just wondering if it could work, would make searching a lot easier, and plus when somebody knew joins the forums, we could probably link it instead of just pointing them towards a "DELETED" Thread.....
Thoughts?

Re: Is it possible?
Here i decided i would do an example:
say for instance you are interested in skin codes so you use the search option to check it out only problem is all you get is a bunch of "DELETED" threads. Now that is a lot of individual posts to look through for the entire forum.
Here is a link with all of the codes -->viewtopic.php?f=1&t=804&start=15
That topic is to named "DELETED" but if we went back and changed it to its original name, it would make searching a lot easier.
BTW if i remember correctly it had to do with MHM skins, i believe it was David who posted the topic.
Another idea is let the original poster (if we can figure out who it is) decide the name for that topic.

Take a look at my "FAQ" thread in the MHMIII forum. It could be helpful I think.

That actually is pretty helpful, and a very good idea not sure why i havent noticed it before.
But still there are topics deleted that hold other information the FAQ lacks.
But then again i bet that faq of yours will accumulate a lot of that info over time.
that should be a HOH FAQ, where people can offer links to ut knowledge or something of the sort.
I like the FAQ and the restoration idea, just anything so i dont have to search for hours LOL

Make an MHM wiki. The software is public and would be really cool to do.

Re: Is it possible?
I think POTS had put on most of the helpful information up to the point of the "accidental nuking" (a phrase I hope I never hear in the real news)
That was a very bad day. If you peeps can tell me what to name the threads and give me a link to them I'll rename them. OK!

Re: Is it possible?
alright heres some for starters:
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=804&start=15-> i think it was like Do we want a MHM skin? pretty sure the author is david here....
http://www.hermskii.com/Forum/viewtopic ... ilit=codes
This one somebody was asking about skin codes think it was called something like How to use skin codes? not sure who the author is, but its mostly three of us discussing what servers can use them, and how you use them. Not much left in the thread now though.
http://www.hermskii.com/Forum/viewtopi ... ilit=codes
This one i remember Reiyel was the author i believe, and he was reporting on the new mod you were using, this thread is all of the members discussing on how we can adjust the mod to make it better and more compatible with the community. i remember that night he and i had played a lot on the new mod and some fun too. I believe this was when you first started using the MHexcal mod herm.
think it was called New Mod? cant remember......
will come back to this as i run into more threads.
