1st request ever to be removed.

Today I got the first request ever from a member here to be removed from the member list here. Actually, I have been given a few request to nuke users before both by other users or current ones that wanted to reregister with another name which isn't needed to change your username here.

I've had others who regretted stuff they had posted and wanted to have their account removed and others that just didn't fit in that wanted to be removed so I guess it wasn't the first but in a way to me, it was because this person had no real need to be removed. If you don't like it here anymore just don't come back. No big deal. You might still get a Mass email from me every once in a while but that feature isn't working currently anyways so right now you wouldn't. I guess you would still have people who could still contact you if your email in the account was correct. Hmmm. Maybe that is why people can sometimes want to be totally removed.

OK. I just answered my own question that I was about to ask so forget it. I hope none of the rest of you want to disappear. It bugs me some when people want to leave here is all. I get so attached. (snif) (snif) (sob).

Well, from what I observed of who is missing from the member list, I can only guess she did not appreciate all our words of wisdom. Young people want to blaze their own path instead of listening to the guidance of those who have traveled that path before. I know, we all have been there and some of us are still working their way through.

It wasn't a lovefest across the street either. I pulled her post after she was nasty to me for asking her to keep things on topic.

Look, you can be a non-conformist "ALL U WNT 2" but you gotta accept the results. If you walk into a room and "P" off everyone, expect them to tell you that. It's the price you pay for admission into the MYWAY club.

Nut cases tend to get onto forums once in a blue moon, so nothing new there. Some later tend to grow up & see their errors, but if it's blamed on teen angst or the environment they grew up in, then pity on them.

That account wasn't removed. It does show as being inactive though. Some new feature of this board list both those names. Maybe they were the same person and when Ikilled one per request it killed the other. I dunno.
