Big Daddy

Post by Hermskii » Wed Dec 24, 2008 8:46 pm

That was Big Daddy (Me) trying to upgrade it to from its current version of 2.0.22 up to 3.04. I failed as you can see but expect to try again later tonight.

I have to disable this forum in order to convert it into the new one. That is why it was down. Iwas so tired last night I had forgotten to turn it back on. Sorry. It will be down again most likely tonight.

Thanks. When does that mean exactly? It is going to be a busy day for you too I suspect. I actually did the whole thing right. I get all the way to the last step which is the conversion. I had sent you the upgrade instructions before. What you don't know is that once you are actually in the procedure from within PHPBB on the new forum trying to convert the old on and upload everything, there are another 10 or so steps. I made it through them all to the point it says I'm good to go then it crashes after about a minute once I start the last part which is convert. It says something about it maxing out, going past 75000 transactions and that it is not allowed according to my provider. I called them and they said they'd do it for me. Then they sent me an email saying no, I could do it myself. They suck bad. I hate them and the service they give. There is a way that I can do this on my own computer and then upload the results thus removing them as the problem. I'll be trying it next.
