New Modem!

My cable mosem burned out. I have a new one now. I suspect this will improve the game some on the servers and may have something to do with the crashes on MHM. We'll see. Later!

My cable modem burned out.

That's why I couldn't find CG! Hmmm.

What kind is the new modem?
I am still not getting my Game Server out on the net as far as I can tell.
I have a Siemens SpeedStream 6520.
This modem/router seems to be a tough nut to crack.
No luck in setting up the port forwarding and other settings correctly yet.
I have a neighbor that has set up a number of game servers from his home that will be taking a look at it.
He is some kind of IT person or something to do with computers so hopefully he will see what I have been missing setting mine up.

The new modem is simply a standard time warner modem but is much smaller than the last one. Hook, let's get together tonight on a messenger voice over IP program and get your server going!

I'll take a rain check on that offer for now.
I have a neighbor that is pretty well versed in setting up router/modems for game servers that wants a crack at it.
If he fails, I'll come back here to you for sure!

I hope he can do it as it would be easier for him to sit at my computer and see what is going on than over the net with you but - well I'll let you know how it goes!

Again - I really appreciate your help on this!!!

Ya - so far he failed LOL.
But we now believe it is my DSL modem/router.
I may try a different one soon.
I'll let you all know when I do.
If it works - another Great Server will be UP! (I hope)
