...kinda thought it would make for a good post.
Reason I can put out so many skins at the same time is because I work on a lot of them simultaneously. Not in sequence, but I do little bits and not finish them before switching to others... kind of like the skinning version of writer's block.
I'm currently working on about 5 different skins. Like this one which is mostly done · https://unreal-games.livejournal.com/217334.html · but I need to even up the skin tones between the face, neck, and ears.
This one is more involved, I've been doing little bits of it over the last few months; finished a number of other skins while working on this.
Old school UTskins.com skin, Venom:
It was a decent skin, but had limited team colors to a jewel front/back which was really tiny.
I don't like some things on skins, like a drooly mouth...
...took a mouth from another skin, I'm setting it up for a transparency to be used on the faces I'll be doing on this fix.
Maybe 3 or 4 faces.
Working another transparency:
Idea is to remove the spider design for a different muscled top:
Then make it completely white, which is a transparency, and I can drag things under it...
...like for the default standard white spider...
...and colored ones for the team colors.
Muscle design aligns on all of them, and the team colors are largely only the upper torso of the spider.
Now, if I fixate I could probably do this in a day... but knowing me I'll keep shifting to other skins and this may take another month of two.
