Christopher, the problem is EG cannot control his landlord's router, mainly the firewall of that router, so he cannot get his server to show out on the net.
EG uses his landlord's Internet Service, so not much anybody can do about it.

You know, I used to host games back when UT first came out. It wasn't at all complicated back then, you just started a game without any elaborate setup and people would be able to see it and hop in if they liked what you had.

Ya, I remember those days

I used to set up a server and a few friends from Chicago would play with me, way back in 2000 to 2002.
I had a 56k dial-up connection that was pretty good.
I usually ran between 45k and 56k - mostly in the 50k to 55k range later at night.
