PlayerBot & Monster

Working on a DM for redeemer wars, got two separate ideas but likely for the same map depending which works better.

1) How does someone give a monster unlimited health? So that it absolutely cannot die.

2) If you put a playerbot on a map is there anyway to change it's name so it doesn't just show up as "player"? Got an Iron Man skin, Wanted to name it "Iron Bot".

Hmmm, not sure.
I used to give "creatures" in my maps a lot of health is all, and it made them very hard to kill.
999 or 9999 health - something like that. :| (been a while)

Already sent the maps to your forum.

Think of the monster as aggressive terrain. It's not about killing the monster, he's just there to kill everybody else while you're playing a redeemer match.

Yeah, that sounds good EG - kind of like Titan, but more of just a sideshow harasser. :wink:

I was toying with making you one with the Talky-Titan, and I may still, but wasn't sure how to handle his health. Even though he continually respawns most of your redeemers would kill him one shot. Wasn't sure if i could alter his health enough.

I tried altering shieldbelts and health on one of the maps but it wouldn't let me. Was trying to make them strong enough to survive a direct hit from at least one redeemer. Oh well...
