Snow in Texas?

Post by a nameless entity » Sun Feb 06, 2011 12:00 pm

Hehehe it snowed in Dallas!? :o

I've heard of it snowing in the panhandle, but that's a lot farther north and way higher in elevation, I believe. There's the chance of more snow for today, Super Bowl Sunday.

Well both teams are used to the cold, but I bet the Steelers are more used to snow than the Packers. So I'm going to avoid Blondehottie's wrath by predicting a victory for the Steelers. ;)

And where the heck is our girl anyway? No sign of her either here or at Redeemer Insanity. :(

I hate the Steelers so I expect them to win but if the Packers take it to them and win, this will be an awesome Super Bowl!

I don't think there is any snow on the field BTW. Go Packers!

BTW, it does snow here every once in a while. It snowed last year on the day I was putting in my new heater in the attic. It snowed in 2004 on the day my 1st son was born too. Yeah, that's about it. Otherwise, it usually snows every 11 years here in Houston. Please send more snow! We love it here.

Ha, I thought the Packers were from WA not WI. Shows you what I know about American football.

Well Herm you can have all the snow we get around here, but how do we reverse the weather patterns? The big snow storm we got last week originated in Texas as a lot of rain. By the time it got up here, I got snow, Blondhottie most likely got a freezing rain and snow mix according to the weather radar, and Scify got a lot of rain.

But if you can figure it out, you're welcome to the joys of snow shoveling and frost bite by all means.
