Tron Legacy

Post by David » Wed Dec 09, 2009 8:15 pm

I just saw this on line and thought that it could be interesting, especially for those who are old enough to remember the original Tron movie. It looks like it might be worth watching. Here is the trailer in HD.

Great...I can't wait to see how bad they mess this up. Did anybody happen to actually make it through the entire "Speed Racer" movie? That is now officially the 2nd worst movie I ever saw. What was the first? No doubt it was Robin Williams as "Popeye the Sailor"

Hate to say it but I think Robin Williams as Peter Pan might very well be the 3rd worst movie I ever saw. I like Robin Williams except for the fact he is a liberal but Popeye and Peter Pan both sucked so badly.

Actually, I watched all of them without my kids. The Popeye movie is at least 10-15 years old. The Peter Pan movie is about 10 years old I think

I'm confused... This Tron thing looks like a videogame, not a movie to me... :?

Tron was a movie from the eighties. I don't know if the pics from above are for a movie or a game.

I'd read about that years ago. Seems it's still being kept up.

Well, I just got done watching the Tron Legacy movie.. According to my wife the movie was not needed. I would sort of agree with her. There is some back story and a possible theme to it, but was it all needed......users choice.. Ha... I said user....Honestly, I did not try to use the word user, it just came out.

Anyway, you can tell the young Jeff Bridges has a CGI face, but not a bad movie. Not one that I plan on buying though.

Do you buy movies David? I think I have bought one ever and it was Toy Story the original and I bought it on VHS. I was so impressed with that movie I had to buy it.

I'll wait and watch Tron and NetFlix I guess.

My wife buys movies... But most of the time we watch them first and if my wife likes it enough then it is bought. Netflix is handy, especially if you can stream them to your blu-ray player/PS3/other devices. Makes it nice if you want to watch whole seasons of TV shows on Netflix
