Canadian blogger leaves post-mortem message

Post by David » Mon May 09, 2011 1:45 pm

I came across this article from http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/42956890?GT1=43001 and thought...WOW.... almost speechless. It really shows how you need to really enjoy what you have, such as family and the nice little things in life that gived you joy.

Here is the blogger's site http://www.penmachine.com/.

Enjoy your lives.

That is simply Awesome!
Again - I thank God every day for what I have the He has given to me and my family.
I simply just cannot take any of it for granted.
It is the very Least I can do.

I read a little bit of it. I think I would have had plenty more to say if I knew my time was coming. I would have asked everyone to send me questions so Icould answer as many as possible before I passed. I hate not being to ask my parents simple questions now that they are gone. Did Dad snore? Did he dance? Was he a good dancer? What was his favorite movie? Stuff like that!

I think over all it was pretty cool. Except he did not believe life after death or that there was more than this life. But I can respect his point of view. I believe that there is more than this life, but that is my own opinion.

I believe that I can be with my family after this life, and I enjoy that thought/belief.

Well I know from an experience of my own that the spirit lives on after this life, and also from the story my mother told me a number of times over the years about her near death experience when she was around 9 or 10 years old. -Suffice it to say that that fellow has had a very pleasant surprise by now.

Oh my yes, isn't amazing the things we think to ask now that they aren't here any more? I'm sure they would have enjoyed sharing their experiences with me, if only I'd thought to ask about them.
I'm a man........but I can change........if I have to........I guess

Yeah Nameless. It kills me a little each day just to not be able to see my Mom. It kills me the most when I come across something of hers I kept and I like it but I don't know the story behind it. There is so much I now wish I would have paid closer attention to and as I mentioned before, wished I would have asked about. I hope and expect to see her again in not too many more years and I can't wait to give her a big kiss and a long hug. I miss my Mom to death every day but it has certainly gotten easier as time goes by.

How people like this guy can live and not expect an afterlife is amazing to me. What guides a person through life if they don't have God with them influencing them along the way???

Yes, there is an afterlife I am sure, judging by the experiences I have had also.
It comforts me a lot knowing I will go on and also those that I have lost in this life, I will meet again.

sorry to bring this up but im sorta atheist kinda. i cant see how there can be a single being that powerful yet so much pain and hurt in the world plus i also recommend seing "chariots of the gods" that did put a whole new spin on my belief about a god. (which used to be 50-50 on 2 things, 1 there is no god and 2 there is but he is a total a hole and not worth worshiping). but thats my opinion and everyone has their own beliefs which all beliefs have to be respected.

Reggy_Babe... there is reason to apologize for bringing up your view point. Thanks for stating your view.

LOL. I'm pretty sure David meant to say that there is "no" reason to apologize. Reggy_Babe, I won't push mine on you if you don't push yours on mine. To each there own I say until you start killing me because I don't believe as you do. Then I'll have an issue with your beliefs.

I have always hoped to leave a video goodbye and a video will to my family. I hope I get around to it before something happens to me. My mother left specific instructions in her will to give $10,000 to the catholic church when she passed and even put in it that nobody better dare try to stop that money from going to the church or she'd get us from the grave basically! Hahaha! True! I dilivered that check to the church and put it in the priest' hand myself!

WOW!!!! Herm was right, I did mean to say that there is no need to apologize. Sorry for that Reggy_Babe... Luch break, and a rush job on the typing...

Ditto about the beliefs being pushed on each other. Respect is always good.

its one of the things i love about religion. there is so many beliefs and so many new and different ideas that i would of not thought of or understood properly until someone tells or explains it. its just something that everyone will find out one day but cant pass on the information to other people. i think it is amazing and the possibilitys endless.

i did not mean or intend to push my beliefs on to other people if that was what you were thinking and am sorry if you took it that way. i just thought that is a very interesting documentory that most people wouldnt look at twice plus make you think about it that way (kinda like a bible but not as important or holy). p.s. go for the older 1970s version if you do

No. I did not think you were pushing anything on me and thank you for that! But I do have a problem with religions that that will flat out kill you if you aren't one of them. I also hate it when people try to push their religion on to me. I don't do it to them and just wish I'd get the same respect.

You are right too in how funny religion is. Pick any religion and even in that 1 religion there will be people who think they are closer to God or whatever their religious ultimate goal is than others in the same religion. Catholics and Jewish people are great examples of this. Take a good outstanding person of one of these religions from the USA over to Europe and compare them with an outstanding member of the same religion over there and they will not see eye to eye I bet. One will walk away thinking the other has lost their way. It is one of those things that is sad and funny at the same time. About this observation, Spock would say "Fascinating"
