I'm going to have to find a new running joke.
By the time I can afford a new computer so that I can play it; it will be in the bargain bin at the stores.
I'm a man........but I can change........if I have to........I guess

I've completed the campaign, the end is freaking funny haha.
Duke sure has balls of steel when it comes to action and taunts.

Read these four reviews. It seems that some reviewers think there are a few good points, but that mostly it is a terrible game. One suggests that the game was made for the over 40 crowd, and that those who are younger and didn't play the original game will be unimpressed in all ways possible.

I liked the last remark in this one the best:

It was freaking awesome. The voice acting was spot on. Duke would swear, but it was never at an inappropriate moment. And the cussing was random, sometimes he would say something mild instead. ie If there was a massive explosion that blew up a lot of baddies, he might say "Holy you know what!" one time, and you could understand why, but on the next play through he might only say "Holy cow!". You also had the option to turn the cussing off in preferences if you wanted to. But you never wanted to, because it wasn't so bad really, and he said a number of different things in each situation's replay, which added variety.
As the reviewers noted, in the original game you could explore a lot. And you needed to if you wanted to find all of the secret areas, some of which were really slyly hidden, and took some luck to discover. Duke could touch things, and I used to look for hidden switches along blank walls. Duke would make an "euhhnn" sound each time he touched the wall and found nothing. As you walked him down the wall feeling for secret switches he'd make that sound at each footstep, and then at some point say in a frustrated tone of voice: "Where is it!?" The game was just full of little surprises like that, while being only mildly off colour for the most part. In fact I can only recall one instance where the line was crossed, and that was at the end of the second part, after he had defeated the boss of that segment.

Re: Duke Nukem Forever has arrived...
My personal Duke nukem review:
Good:
+ Graphics
+ Sounds
+ Music
+ Atmosphere
+ Lot's of action
Bad
- Easy gameplay
- Weak enemies
- Not much 'thrilling' parts.
- To short campain, levels are finished within 10 minutes.
