Throw-down at Helen's!!!

Post by Hermskii » Thu Jul 21, 2011 10:12 pm

OK folks,

I've been yapping a bunch about playing at Helen's DeathMatch server every Friday and Saturday night for a little while now. As I have menetioned, it is fun like it was back when UT was new! Helen cycles really great DM maps and fills the player gaps with bots that you'd think are real people.

Some folks have mentioned to me that they want in on this and I have invited them to join us repeatedly. Some made it and some didn't. Here is what I want to suggest:

Go to Helen's forum at:

http://www.birdieman.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl

and tell us all when you can or want to play. Keller has been wanting to play there the most of everyone who said they wanted to but haven't shown up yet. Keller wants to play just after midnight on weekdays which is hard for the rest of us I suspect BUT I have told him that I am willing to show up on Thursday night just after midnight central time to give him a few rounds just so he can see the place in action. Just not this Thursday as in today! It should be quite the throw-down based on what I understand of Keller's gaming ability.

I'll strike up a topic over there and I hope to see many of you commit to join in.
~Peace~

I just popped over there to take a look. Lots of stuff to download to get in but worth it. Only one other real person in there when I got it. Sadly, Helen doesn't have the SKtrooper model running so I had to opt for a default Male Soldier.

Decent play, nice map. I'm a little fuzzy on when MST is...but I'll pop back Saturday and see,

Hey Keller. My work wants me to get that same WIN 7 cert. Was it hard at all? I suspect I can pass the test right now but if you have good study tools or software for the test I'd like to hear about it. Iprefer not to just past the tests. I like to blow them out of the water! I too am already a MCP and A+ IT Tech as well with a few other things but I'm actually interested in getting this next one done. I'd like to test for it by end of next month. I will likely knock it out and N+ too. Let's talk!

Glad u popped by. Get that model's package to me somehow and I'll try it out to assure myself it doesn't crash, then I'll put it on the server.
