Re: YouTubeFest...
Have they broadcast the 2nd episode yet? I enjoyed the first, but if they've run the 2nd I missed it. The local broadcaster here just repeated the 1st last night, and announced that they're moving the show to Monday.

Re: YouTubeFest...
Okay, here's a challenge:
I have been trying for years to find the B&W footage of a motorcycle cop being shot off of his motorcycle while on escort duty in 1967.
He was shot off of his bike by an FLQ sniper. In the background you can see a train going by.
Guess who was on that train? Yes, it was me. I was on my way to Expo 67 with a group sponsored by the Lion's Club.
I saw the police motorcycles and the limo being escorted. But just as they went out of sight from my place at the front of the coach, a boy burst out laughing at the far end that a cop had fallen off of his bike.
We found out when we got to Montreal what had actually happened.
Every once in a long while the footage appears on TV while they talk about those times, but I can never find the damn footage myself.
Anyone more clever than me?

Re: YouTubeFest...
I likely did. We lost so many of these videos over the years due to YouTube taking them down for every different reason you can imagine. I'm hoping people say enough about each one now so that if it does get removed, I can find a new link to it and edit it back in. This Techno Viking guy tripped me out the first few times I saw it.a nameless entity wrote: ↑Tue Feb 11, 2025 3:52 pmDidn't you post this one before? It is not the footage you brought up, but talks about the group and some events back then.a nameless entity wrote: ↑Tue Feb 11, 2025 5:06 pmOkay, here's a challenge:
