...Which is exactly what it is.
It's the UT99 version of a popular 2004 mod, even if you add cut-scenes and storyline, it's still going to be that.

If anything it would be, "Oh, I recognize this, it's a thinly disguised copy of that UT2004 thing." What I'm saying, basically, is that it's Invasion, and it's always going to be Invasion unless you have way too much spare time on your hands

No-one helps, No-one explains, all they do is complain about me complaining, "oh look bio found something to complain about let's ignore him", and say they're getting sick of me, reading posts of people saying I have a problem and never giving me any help in saying what it is or what I should do about it isn't useful either! My "attitude" is not going to improved by people pointing at me and laughing!

Yes I've been pushed over the edge again, it had to happen sometime. I'm not saying I'm right or that you all have problems or anything like that, I'm just saying that no-one has made any effort to tell me what the "right way" is.

So, my thoughts for the Invasion are "but it IS a copy", how do I say that properly?
If I'm in danger of being branded as a "passive-aggressive snarky complainer kid", then what am I supposed to do?

Even if this sounds like an excuse, I do have Aspergers Syndrome, which basically means I'm different to everyone else. I don't know how to say things in a "normal" way, It's a world I don't know!

first I have the big fight with you.

Then EA.
Then Supreme makes this map, and he lunges for my throat because I've criticized it.
I don't enjoy getting into fights with all my friends, I just state my opinions and everyone else over-reacts, but this has happened so much I'm willing to give up.

My respect level seems to be nearly empty anyway, so what do I have to lose?

EDIT: I brought in my most powerful antidepressant, the ONP-Sunrise track. I then played a funny mario level, and had a nice chat with one of my friends.
My self-esteem is back in force, I'll keep my original post because it's all true, but I've now got back enough confidence to say:

You know what, never mind. Take the thread. If anyone wants to contribute, you know where to find me. I just can't tolerate this stuff any more. At one time this was a nice little community but it has devolved into little sub-groups with no clear leadership or direction. Increasingly I have to wade through more and more useless posts to get to the real stuff, and I think I have personally reached my line in the sand.

I wish you guys could see how HoF is run in the background. Everyone has specific little jobs and each does his share to keep things rolling. It's so much a group project there you can't help but feel like an important cog in the machine. There is no infighting, everyone chats all evening on teamspeak, and there is a general mood of contentment. I wish you guys could have that for a while.

Theme idea i think an official Tournament theme run by Liandri, like its one of the most deadly games and players have to survive while liandri spawn in more and more monsters into the specially made arenas.
So basically sticking with the UT story but it being a new mode.

for cinematics i spose we could have players walkin into an arena with liandri textures around and stuff, i dunno really.

Actually, it's true. Gopo is trying to contribute and in order to that he wants this tread to be serious and he also wants to keep it on-topic, so we should respect that.

I have to disagree in the part about having little sub-groups; perhaps that happens in HOF, but in here we don´t have a collective mind and we also got tired of dictatorships, so if someone disagrees with something that does not mean lack of community at all, that means respecting different opinions. Look, the cow criticized Supreme´s map but now they´re cool.

So guys, please keep this thread ON-TOPIC!

Well, anyway, we got together and played many matches of MH, Invasion, and Deathmatch.
We also played SevenTests no less then 3 times, it was good fun.
So, now we're all fine again

By the way, I've also polished up the story files a bit and added the latest mission.
