Yes I am, and the funny part is, Firefox released a version update to sort it out, and MSN is still freezing even after downgrading the Flash Player.

I'm pretty sure it's the Flash ads and Flash games embedded into MSN causing it to hang, but I don't know what else to do to sort this problem out.

I'm looking myself around for another IM client at this point.
Bloated software for the win.

P.S. None of the work-arounds suggested worked, it still occasionally hangs during file transfer, and all I can do is kill the process from Task Manager.

I correct myself, it freezes really at random, even if you simply open Windows Live Mail now, and quite often. It started becoming real crap as soon as they forced the upgrade to version 2011. Wonder why. Not like it was perfect before, but it happened quite seldom, now at least once or twice a day.

I was going to put this in the stupid people making the news thread, but as I was writing my post, I realized I was venting. So......

I know if you are in the United States and maybe even Canada, you have heard about the bus monitor that was bullied by some of the kids on the bus. If not, here is the video.

I could only watch 1 minute of the 10 minute video. I would want to snap these kids in half. Where is the respect for adults? Where is the respect for yourself and your parents? I want to see the parents of these "kids". I want to display the parents as they watch "their babies" torment this lady who is just trying to do her job. Parents are always first to defend their kids and most of the time state "Not my kid" when they are told what their kid(s) has done.

You know, if it was my kid who did this.. I would break my wooden paddle on their butt and then work them with any any physical labor this is in needed to be done by my household or any household I know. I would ground them from computers, TV, friends.....

You know whose fault this is...the parents. Kids will be kids, yes I know, but they also act and react by the way they are taught at home. If you are not a good parent or you want to let you kids be free thinkers and think you should not discipline your kids.. this is what you get.

Where is Singapore justice when you need it? (In case you forgot http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_P._Fay) I do think this is needed. And to you who do not think physical punishment (spanking) is warranted by anything....I am glad you have your opinion. I deal with your type of kids in my job, and I can say, I wish the best for your and your kids because they will need it.

P.S. There is a difference between discipline/spanking and abuse. I will not abuse my children, but they will know that there are consequences for their actions, good and bad.

Yes, my parents (and grandparents) never "spared the rod", and I am very glad of it.
It is not abuse - it helps you remember what is right.
I never thought of it as abuse - even when I was a kid getting the belt!

I agree. I deserved every spanking I got. I mean I was not a bad kid, but my Dad and sometimes my Mom will help me by correcting me where I was going astray. Even as a kid, I knew what the consequences were for certain choices I made or was going to make. It was never abuse and I never viewed as abuse. I knew it kept from getting into a worse situation. They did this because they loved me enough to do this.

I know that I am "old fashion", but that is fine. But I shake my head at many things in this world and the direction that the the world is swinging is moronic to me. I know that there are people who will disagree with me, but that is fine. I will raise my family in the direction that I see fit and they will decide how they will live their lives.

I know that there are a couple or maybe several pot smokers on this forum and they will disagree with me, but I have seen the effects of different drugs on people that I deal with and have known for years. One of the drugs is of course marijuana.

I can say more, but I do not like standing on a soap box, but I needed to state my vent and about the how the world's value is changing and to me, not changing for the better.

Really? You think there might be several smokers here? I think there used to be. I pretty much doubt any now except some who cane in from another forum recently. LOL.

I give some wiggle room since we have some from other countries where it might be the "norm" to smoke the marijuana. I knew in the past we had a couple, at least 1-2 members that I believed to partake of it.

A fellow I used to work with once admitted to me that he had been a heavy user of marijuana until he damaged his kidneys and got nephritis. So he switched to beer. He's around two years younger than me. I hadn't seen him for a few years until last Spring. The alcoholism has made him look very old now. He's gotten very thin too. I suppose drinking all that fluid has helped his kidneys, but it sure has taken its toll otherwise. It's very sad.

That one lady who has MS and only uses pot very sparingly might end up being a better Mom if it helps her manage her disease better, but those who have no medical reason for using it risk addiction and are fooling themselves if they think being a pot head helps them in any way. It's like saying "I only have two or three martinis a day, and it is good for me because it keeps me relaxed while I take care of the kids as they go through "the terrible two's".

Don't get me wrong. I'd rather have a bunch of pot smokers everywhere than drunks. I recall the discussion about when California killed the legalize medical pot policy or whatever it was they shot down like that. At that time we had several folks come out and admit their usage of pot. I don't care if people smoke pot but I do care if they make it public, if they do so as some sort of excuse to say they are better for it in some way, if they make it readily available to other folks and if they do it in front of kids or think it is ok for kids to do it. Let me be clear: I hate that there is any demand for pot and I most hate that cops get killed trying to keep it out of our country. I hate that it is a GATEWAY drug and I hate what it has the ability to do to our kids/adults and society. Overall, I'd like for it to be gone BUT I think alcohol is far worse. Not really, but then maybe you might like my neighbourhood. There are three bong shops along the length of the street that runs parallel to mine. The Liquor Control Board's liquor store is gone. But you can still buy beer at the Brewer's outlet store at the bottom of the street.
(No wine or beer is sold in corner stores or supermarkets in Ontario.)

The street used to be a vibrant shopping area. There was a jewelry store, hardware store, news agency, drug store, 3 supermarkets, 3 dry cleaners, a furniture store, etc. But since the nasty recession of 1991 the street has gone downhill. It was already suffering when the latest recession hit. So now we have a tattoo parlour, two thrift shops, 3 bong shops, only one supermarket, and mostly bars and coffee/deli shops in place of the other businesses. Just a handful of other businesses remain. It's just another sign of the times here in the rust belt, I guess.
