First-> Hello ]KAUT[Ante - Nice of you to join us. :P

OK - "When one file downloading slowly" it usually means that one or more files is Not on the Redirect.
That "slow" file you will still have to DownLoad at the Slow rate, even if you re-connect.
Once that file is DL'd then reconnecting will go faster, but only IF all the other files are redirected.

all files are properly redirected. As I said when it loads slowly, simply reconnect and it should go faster!

Well, about the server question we kinda quited with BT since we're supposed to be a MH community.
But there is a change I'll pop in sometimes only not as much as before...
*If* you do play MH also, we're mostly in the Monster Hunt Mayhem {MHM} server or in Fuzz_Ball's Funhouse : Ultimate Monster Hunt and I play pretty much on Killerbee's Monsterhunt Palace also...

OK - We are Adding BT - Bunny Tracks to Our New {CLD} Server over at HUTP.
What is a good mod for this? (if needed? - more than one?)
Some BT's do not require a mod but I am not sure which or what mod if any to put in the server.

I *think* most BT servers use this mod:

BunnyTrack_V5

There's also another one named BTPlusPlusv097 but again I think the former should be a sort of upgrade to the original mod. Not sure whether you may need also some anticheat stuff or not and the Nexgen console, anyway you must use at least the BT mod otherwise the maps won't work.

P.S. The ut-files website is currently down...

The problem is the mutator won't work with MapVoteLA, I took a look at one MapVoteLA.ini and it looks like another mod/mutator is needed to make this one work properly:

Can you see the custom GameClass? That's the problem, if you set the gameclass to BotPack.CTFGame the MapVote won't show you the BT maps but just the CTF ones, unless you rename them all to CTF instead of CTF-BT I guess.

Is it just me or this darn website has been down for a month or so? Also ut-files is down, what the heck is going on? OK there's one more thing I haven't tried yet... :? :(

Here is an excerpt from it...
ABOUT...
BTPlusPlus stands for BunnyTrack Plus Plus. It is a full blown addon for
servers running BunnyTrack mod and even a pure CTF game type with BT maps.
It tries to prevent n00bs from spoiling a good game while not limiting
the freedom of others. It also adds many useful improvements to the game
while still being compatible with the original BunnyTrack mod.

And...
INSTALLATION...
Alright, you can run it either as a ServerActor or as a Mutator. Choose one:

- Running as a ServerActor:
Copy all files EXCEPT BTPlusPlusv097.int to your System directory and add the below lines to the [Engine.GameEngine] section of UnrealTournament.ini
ServerActors=BTPlusPlusv097.BTPlusPlus
ServerPackages=BTPlusPlusv097

- Running as a Mutator(sorta untested):
Copy ALL files to your System directory and and add the below line to the [Engine.GameEngine] section of UnrealTournament.ini
ServerPackages=BTPlusPlusv097
You can add it to you server's startup script by putting BTPlusPlusv097.BTPlusPlus there. For example:
ucc BT-Maverick.unr?game=BunnyTrack.BunnyTrackGame?mutator=BDBMapVote304.BDBMapVote,BTPlusPlusv097.BTPlusPlus
Note: The int file gives you the advantage to select BTPlusPlus as a mutator in various lists, for example in webadmin


And yep, you have to either run it as a CTF Gametype - OR - as a BT Gametype - and IF you have the BT Mod installed and running with this mutator you have the maps just prefixed with BT only.

According to one experienced BT server admin who runs a few BT servers, he recommends running it without the BT mod and just under the CTF Game Type.
They do work with MapVote either way but he says just using CTF with BTPlusPlusv097 running is best. :P

Well I've found all required files too thanks to someone who posted them on the utsurvival website (thank God someone saved a copy of the BT mod, can't believe there are NO official download mirrors left for that mod in the whole Internet). I was even working on posting a full BT mod pack here, containing the BT mod, BTPlusPlus and IpToCountry with all missing INIs.

Now my problem is I've been messing with INIs, settings and mutators and I can NOT make BTPlusPlus work with the plain CTF gametype. My UT gametype browser correctly shows me the BT maps and loads the mutator but MapVoteLA acts like a beeich.

This line is for the BT mod associated to the BTPlusPlus mutator and it works fine, but you have to manually rename all maps to BT-whatever

P.S. Yes you're right, most of the BT servers nowadays run a CTF-BT server instead of a pure BT server (at least you don't have to rename all maps).
