I have run TDM-Redeemers and also CTF-Redeemers - I thought it was fun.

Anybody for Sir Mandrake's question about TEAM Monster Hunt?

I didn't think it ever took off. I know there was a huge effort for it but it fell short I think.

I believe team monster hunt failed due to a lack of maps. Plus the fact that most people play MH because they want to get away from DM and competition, and just have a few laughs with some other players while working together as a team. It does make a nice change.

REASON for This Thread...
If you run a forum, a thread like this is good.
Many forums have these threads.
Members come and log in and much of the time only READ posts.
This thread gives them a place to just post a "Hello" to everyone, letting people and the admins know that they were here even though they didn't have any real useful On Topic posts to post.
As an admin of 5+ forums myself, I like to know that people were at my forum and stopped in to at least read and hopefully post a "hello" and maybe something more if they can.
Posts in this thread can also be used not only just to say "Hello", but also as a way to post what is happening in your part of the world on a day to day basis.

Chico over at Excalibur Holland has a "shout box" that only members can see when they visit his community's home page. You can type in a quick greeting there. Sometimes it gets misused as a chat room, (mea culpa!) but for the most part it works very nicely.
I'd like to see that here, but I guess the software Hermskii uses for this place doesn't support it. Bummer.

Thanks for the feedback on Team MH guys

phpBB does support Chat and many other things but you have to get the mods for it and he probably needs to upgrade to get the latest mods. Look at Hooks forum...thats phpBB as well with a few mods in place. However a fully functional chat room is possible for any forum without upgrade or modification of the forum or user's PC.

I don't do it because mods make upgrades hard and this software upgrades often. Even more, I don't want to risk messing up an install and have the forum break.

Oh yeah, we do have full chat and chat rooms also at my forums.
It comes with the forums there.
I forget we have it most of the time, but it does work great.
USE it if you wish - it is nice.

SilentBob and I had some good times last night on the servers!
We just missed Beagle on CMM.
There were peeps on CG also, but I only had time for a couple of maps.
Otherwise I'd have gone over there too.
