Herm Witch chatlogger do you use?

Yeah. The one i found that makes you have to open this box in the gui for it to turn on. SEEESCH.

Thanks Herm , It's working great.
I have been reading a few to look for problems with the server.
The conversations that happen on the server are simply hilarious.

Yeah, I don't read the talk too often but yes sometimes it is funny as hell. Other times it lets me know who acts one way on this forum and another way on the servers. It also lets me see who is trying to get people to go to other servers and that is when I become aware of many of the problems my server has. It is great. It is like being a fly on the wall all of the time.

I still wish there was a way for me to join the game invisibly with no notice that I have joined and allow me to fly around in ghost mode to actually watch people while they play as if I wasn't there at all. Now that I think about it, we are having the mod redone and could ask gopostal to try to figure out a way to do this.

It does i use it on my server.
But you cannot use the fly or ghost codes.
All other functions work and the login does not change your player name to white. It doesn't broadcast the admin logging in message.
So you login and nobody knows but other admins on the server.
You can spectate any player from 3rd or 1st person anytime you want.
You can rename players names, kick ban whatever you want.
You can summon witch is nice.
You can kill players to unblock doors and teleporters
You can send private messages to other admins or specific players!
it has really come in handy for me.

You must take up a slot yes. But if you are spectating your name does not show up at the end of the match or F1 does it?

Well when you join as a spectator you are not on the F1 player list are you?

I just tested it out.
When you join any server as spectator you are invisible except for one entry in mapvote LA13. Your name shows up there but it is colored light grey. Very unnoticeable.
In the F1 player screen there is no entry.
In the master server list no players show up when in spectator mode.

So theoretically you are invisible completely if you use hidden admin and don't use the la13 map vote. Maybe la 13 can be configured in the ini to exclude spectators.? This is getting interesting.

Yeah your method will work fine for a MH server.
I'm not to concerned about all this though.
If i can login anonymously i am fully satisfied.
It is all that is needed at this point to police.
I have not heard of anyone acting up on my server yet.
but...
The Hidden Admin also lets you delegate powers with passwords to moderators. So when the time comes it will be very useful.
