I use AVG free edition by Grisoft but be aware that the free edition is really not turned up to be as strong as it needs to be when you get it. You need to install it then turn up the settings to get it going right. Mine has only failed against one virus and I never should have opened and run an .exe file from an unknown source. It was my bad and not the poor virus scanner's problem.

I know it is not free but you can get it cheap. I use Kaspersky Anti-Virus. It is very aggressive and good program. You can find "it" on eBay and get really cheap there, just choose wisely. On eBay most of the time you pay for a serial number. I bought mine from Kaspersky but I had a co-worker buy his on eBay and it worked flawlessly.

Sometimes there are good freeware, but in a lot of the cases you get what you pay for. I wish you luck. I would go the eBay route and get a strong AV program at a low price.

I'm with Herm. AVG Free+common sense is ALL you need.

Don't open attachements in email.
Don't open exe files EVER.

You are golden.

Does anyone have "RUN TO CADENCE WITH THE U.S. MARINES" VOL. 1, 2, and 3?

I like to listen while I run on the treadmill. I have parts of one, but some tracks are not complete and that annoys me.

If you are up to the task of defending your PC properly from malware, spamware and viruses I'm sure you can find what you are looking for on LimeWire or FrostWire.

OK, do you want the one "I want to be a drill instructor" or the one called "I can run to Iraq"? How about Volume 2 called "Fired Up...Feels Good"? Maybe you want one called "I used to sit at home all day"? There is one called "My Grandpa". My Grand daddy was a horse Marine or I am Marine corps infantry. Bo Didly?

There are so many more to choose from too. Let me know. I only see one listed as a Volume and it is Volume 2.

I use an older version of LimeWire. It is version 4.8.1 and it has no ads or spyware but can still easily get you into trouble if you don't set the settings right. Never download and run anything that ends with or requires an additional file like a .exe or html. Cya!
