my mom is having a problem playing on a laptop

she can play fine while on a wired connection but when she goes wireless it stutters really bad and she has an excellent connection at the time. any ideas? it is a newer laptop and it has a mobile intel 128 video with a gig of ram and not sure the cpu but it was good too.

It must have something to do with your wireless card or router configuration then. Cause you say it only messes up when its wireless right? Are you useing some kind of encryption in the connection?

Good guess Kort. Chances are that she has WEP enabled. This encryps stuff and brings upload and downloads speeds down badly yet increases the security of info sent over the wireless connection. So my guess is the same as Korts.
