Honestly, I had suspected Kort would have already come back. Now I'm actually beginning to worry a little. Does anyone here know her in real life or have a recent email from her?

I say this because usually when people get on the wagon and stop playing UT they usually can't stay away for more than a few months. She has been gone forever it feels like.

Im not sure if you remember herm, but kort has left a couple times in the past before this.
I believe she has left twice before this, maybe three. Maybe she decided that it was her time to move on. Honestly, if she wants to come back, you know that nothing would stop here from stopping by and posting a "how do you do?" I dont even think you could if you wanted to herm

Yeah, she took a few vacatins before for about 6 months each but I still want to see her here again soon even if it is just a flyby hello.

I still know her back from the time she was named "Kortniechan" and ran the MerryPoppinsPandaClan" She has always been a good person to me when I was still a newb. Oh good old times.. Whatever she is doing, I do hope she's happy.

Guys, I totally get it. You can get really burned out as the go-to person if you aren't made for it. Players can be quite demanding and not very considerate of the fact that you are a volunteer, not a paid "customer service rep". I've taken a couple of breaks in the past, and that sort of thing is what drove me away from running an Invasion server. I think thats one benefit to being a little older than the UT norm. I have learned patience.

K if you read this, please consider a return. I could really use your mapping experience.

Caveat- In NO WAY is this a back-handed comment at anyone here. If I didn't want to do something here, I'd tell you. No one has ever bothered me asking for anything. If I felt that way, I'd be pretty open about it.

I got to speak with K today via a email. She said she is doing fine and that she is glad to be living rather than playing video games right now. She hopes we are all doing OK too.

That was pretty much it. I invited her to drop by and say Hi but that if she didn't that was cool too. Hey, she's doing other things now and that is all her choice so good for her.
