I think this year (my Sophomore year) will be the most fun year yet! I have some fun classes coming up!

Guess "Sophomore" year didn't teach you enough.
I would have had spelt it the same way HermWikipedia wrote:The etymology is from Greek, sophisma ‘clever device’ from sophizesthai ‘to devise, become wise’, and the original English spelling was "Sophumer".[4] Sophumer is similar to the present participle 'sophuming,' which was formed upon 'sophum.' Sophum is an obsolete variant of 'sophism,' which eventually traces to the Greek σοφός (sophos), meaning wise, or clever (see Σοφία). 'Sophomore,' as an English word, was established in the seventeenth century.[5] It was not until 1726 that the spelling was established in United States as "sophomore".
Ah - so there's proof as to Herm's true age!!'Sophomore,' as an English word, was established in the seventeenth century.[5] It was not until 1726 that the spelling was established in United States as "sophomore".
Sounds like one of those stereotype bullies that's always like:Prowner wrote:Just wait Prowner, we will see you after school
That was the point/joke. Personally, my personality in school was that of a quiet loner kid who did his own thing until others tries to interferes with my friends then i got to play with them..heopfully without being arrestedProwner wrote:Sounds like one of those stereotype bullies that's always like:Prowner wrote:Just wait Prowner, we will see you after school

You mean an old, good speller.Hermskii wrote:I'm right two ways:
1. I edited my misspelling of that word.
2. Yeah I'm so old that it was spelled right if the date was back when I was "sophmore".
LOL.
I'm busted! I admit it. I'd rather be a young a bad speller than and a old good speller.
Correction:Hermskii wrote:See that! I fixed that too!
