The keyboard I've had pretty much the entire time I've had a computer, cuz I've been switching it from each upgrade onto the next system, has kinda broken. My foot got hooked in the cord while I was sitting crosslegged and I accidentally yanked it off the desk when I moved...

...which isn't a huge deal. I've got the keyboard from my dead computer (which I'm clearly using now) but it does suck to a slight degree.

The two keyboards aren't exactly the same size. It's a subtle difference that if evident to me as I type this but moreso, it will likely seriously effect my ut99 gameplay.

I am not well pleased.

I understand. I had a keyboard that I used for years and I was used to it and dang it, it matched my computer. It had cool looking led lights and all that matched my computer tower. But after years and years of use, the letters were fading and were gone in some cases. It got annoying..... After a year or so of not having some letter markings on the keyboard, I broke down and got a new keyboard. It is not the same keyboard, could not find the model that I had prior for sale.

But, I have gotten used to the new keyboard and I am glad that I did. It is nice. It took a little to get used to it, but it is similar to the previous one, so it was not a huge change and it is nice to have letter markings you can read.

I'm lucky or not. I go through keyboards like I go through hard drives. Often is what I'm saying. I usually don't notice a difference when I have to get a new one. I know just stock pile them. I go up to Fry's and buy about 3 of the cheap ($9.99 each) keyboards at a time.

What I hate is trying to use a laptop keyboard. They are too small and all of the special keys are in different locations.

I Love Fry's I could live there ....really ! they even have a cafe there !
and it'ls about time for me to visit them again, my hardrive is oooold (7-8 years old now!) and its starting to whine, I hope it'll last till tax refund time so that I can get that fixed and get windows 7 as well!

I might hit up Fry's, there's one less than 2 miles from me, if I can find a good one that's cheap.
