I'm back from New Orleans where my wife and I went on vacation over the weekend. Did I miss anything?

I was there in New Orleans a few years back and then again this weekend. It looks exactly the same downtown. I saw no damage at all but Downtown was pretty screwed up a few years ago already when I was there last. We did leave or room and we walked everywhere. I mean everywhere. I'm still sore. We only tried to make babies in the room and otherwise we were out and about the whole time.

We did see some mass destruction on the way out and there are buildings and signs that are still torn apart big time but downtown looked exactly as it did a few years ago to me. I say fix the levies properly and let them rebuild. There is so much culture in that city. Can you think of any other single place on the planet that is so wide armed open with a come as you are theme. The place amazes me each time. The down side was this: It was like the 35th annual Decadence Festival. In other words, it was gay pride weekend. My wife didn't know when she planned for this a few months ago. Friday night was very gay. Saturday had lots of women around. I've always preferred Saturdays!

That reminds me of the time my wife and I went to East beach at Galveston.
Beautiful summer weekend, cold beer and a chance for me to see some
bikinis !!!
Well come to find out it was gay pride weekend at the beach and the only thongs I was seeing were on men.
I didn't leave my wife's side all day.
